ABRRS Events

So, are you a rose lover and enthusiast? Or maybe you just have an unidentified rose that came with the new house you just purchased, that seems to have some potential? Well, it may be perfect moment to take time to smell the roses. The Rose became our National Floral Emblem when President Reagan signed it into law in 1987. It has long been a symbol of love, honor, respect and admiration.  It is now a symbol of our Nation along with the American Flag, the National Anthem and the National Motto.

Are you having questions about growing & caring for roses? Come to one of our events and gain valuable gardening advice from many of the rosarians on hand. You’ll get to see award-winning roses on display and get a chance to learn more about them while having a visual floral experience to delight your senses. All of our meetings are open to the public, so come and join us! Whether you are new to growing roses or a long-time rosarian who would welcome the company of other rose lovers that have an interest in growing roses in the south east, you are welcome.

Here, is a list of our events and activities scheduled for the next few months. We’ll update this page frequently, so check back often to stay up to date.

The Annual ABRRS Plant Sale and ABRRS Exhibition was written up in the Asheville-Citizens Times. Find out what they had to say about us at Asheville Blue Ridge Rose Society hosts plant sale and annual exhibition.
